US antidumping duty on China BFA

Following the USITC's affirmative determination, on 12 November, the DoC issued an antidumping duty order on imports of “refined brown aluminum oxide” from China – ie. processed brown fused alumina (BFA) in grit sizes of 3/8in. or less.

The order was effective 19 November 2003, and the weighted-average dumping margin was set at 135.18%. Excluded from the scope of the investigation was BFA...
