(AMM) ISA's quarterly, nine-month earnings, sales up sharply

Industrial Services of America Inc. (ISA) saw its earnings soar during the third quarter and nine-month period compared with a year earlier.

The Louisville, Ky.-based scrap processor and waste consultant posted third-quarter net income of $1.3 million, more than triple earnings of $383,000 a year ago, on sales that jumped 60.8 percent to $28.8 million from $17.9 million.
