(AMM) Ladish unit gets aero job; castings project delayed

A Polish subsidiary of Ladish Co. has won its first landing gear order for large commercial aircraft.

Zaklad Kuznia Matrycowa Sp z.o.o. (ZKM) has received new orders from Charlotte, N.C.-based Goodrich Corp. under a five year contract. It is for the first of more than 20 landing gear components to be produced for Goodrich and calls for shipment of production quantities starting in December.

ZKM, based in Stalowa Wola, Poland, was founded in 1978 and acquired in 2005 by Ladish, a Cudahy, Wis.-based producer of forgings and castings....
