Glencore settles CSN coking coal dispute

Agreed - Battle averted as trading firm returns to normal commercial activities

Swiss trading firm Glencore has settled a dispute with Brazilian steelmaker CSN, which it said cancelled metallurgical coke supply contracts worth around $113 million. “Whilst certain commercial disputes did take place between Glencore and CSN, these have now been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties, and normal commercial activities have resumed,” a Glencore spokesman told MB last week.
