US back antidumping duties of up to 159% on small diameter electrodes from China
The USTC found that Chinese imports of these electrodes, which are used in ladle metallurgy and specialty furnace applications in industries including foundries, smelters, and steel refining operations, have increased dramatically over the last several years, and have taken growing market share and caused significant financial harm to the domestic industry.
