(AMM) Tungsten prices remain stagnant in listless market

Tungsten prices in the United States remain unchanged, but market sources agree buyers could drive down prices if they were prepared to bargain hard-and if demand justified doing so.
Producers, traders and buyers put ammonium paratungstate (APT) prices at $200 to $210 per short ton unit (stu) but added it was difficult to name a definitive price with so few trades on the market.
"You could push it down to $190 to $195 if you had to, but nobody wants to do that," a North American consumer said, adding that it's buying tungsten carbide "every now and then."
