Kobe Steel plans to ease its rolled copper output cut to just 40% year-on-year in the third quarter on improving exports and falling inventories.
The Japanese mill cut its rolled copper output to 80-90% or around 1,000 tpm in the first quarter as demand for copper fell sharply with the economic slowdown.
