Production has been suspended at Hsikwangshan Twinkling Star’s underground antimony mines in China’s Hunan province following an accident on Thursday that killed 26 people, market sources have told MB
“The accident was at Hsikwangshan’s main mine and all underground mining has been stopped,” said one source, speculating that other mining activity could also be affected in Hunan.
The accident happened after the brakes in two lifts in the mine malfunctioned, according to reports from www.chinaview.cn.
