Prices on the rise but market still suffering from construction downturn
During the year, perlite prices have risen by around 5% across the grades over 2008 prices, with the increases taken on board by customers.
Raw, crushed, graded perlite, FOB Turkey is currently $60-65/tonne (bulk) and $75-85/tonne (bagged), up from $55-65/tonne and $70-80/tonne respectively...
