Alumina prices stabilised with continued low demand from refractories market

Latest prices for standard unground calcined alumina (98.5-99.5% Al2O3 bulk FOB refinery) have been quoted at $600/tonne which compares to a price of $775/tonne during the same period last year. Prices for low soda alumina remain high at over $1,000/tonne.
