Nikochem to develop nano magnesium hydroxide with Rusnano for flame retardants

 

The project’s aim is the production of a flame retardant nanostructured magnesium hydroxide with a modified surface, and value added products of bromide and magnesium chloride.

 

Rusnano’s supervisory council recently decided to contribute rubles (R) 167m. ($5.48m.) to the project, and provide up to R1,110m. ($36.4m.) in credit. The total budgeted cost of the project is R3,100m. ($101.8m).
