March sees the great and the good of the industrial minerals world descend on the Sunshine State, as Miami hosts the 20th Industrial Minerals International Congress & Exhibition. Here we preview some of the key topics that will enable delegates to assess the latest trends and developments in the ever-changing international industrial minerals business

Although this year marks the biennial event’s seventh visit to the USA, it is the first time to be hosted in Miami, Florida. The 20th Industrial Minerals International Congress & Exhibition will take place on 21-24 March 2010, at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club (see p.64-65).

The industrial minerals world is indeed diverse, and even the four and half days of papers cannot cover each and every subject. However, the intent of the IM Congress has always been to ensure coverage of the most topical and stimulating issues affecting the industry.



Of equal importance, has been the IM Congress’ aim to foster a gathering of industry experts and those interested in participating in our industry, from which informed discussion and contacts are made in order to progress business.
