Selenium rally continues even as buyer resistance mounts

Selenium prices continued to rise on Wednesday as strong demand and tight spot supply lent support to the spot market
Selenium is trading at $34.50-38.50 per lb compared with $34-38 per lb previously.
Little business was reported on Wednesday, although there is speculation in the European market that spot deals have already been struck at $40 per lb.
“It’s still going up. We’re buying at $34.50 and selling up to $38. I’m telling my guys to book metal, but to be fair to the customers,” one market participant said.
