Secondary aluminum alloy prices posted gains in the past week, and at least one smelter source sees more increases in store.

The prevailing price of secondary aluminum alloys had risen by 1 to 2 cents per pound as of Wednesday, depending on the grade, with A380.1 moving to a range of $1.05 to $1.06 per pound from $1.03 to $1.04 a week earlier.
