(AMM) International Coal Group mine development in W.Va. gets 'go'

International Coal Group Inc. (ICG) plans to proceed with development of a West Virginia metallurgical coal mine following a nearly year-long delay.

"Our current business plan anticipates that we will resume construction on the Tygart project in mid-2011, with early development production projected for late 2012," according to Ben Hatfield, chief executive officer and president of the Scott Depot, W.Va.-based mining operation.
