Ciments Français says obstacles still blocking merger with Italcementi

On 5 March, Italcementi threw the market into speculation when it approved a €2,000 ($2,700m.) bond programme through Italcementi Finance, a new subsidiary based in France, and launched an offer to buy out the US noteholders who blocked its takeover of Ciments Francais in June 2009....
