Sulphur climbs, rare earths moving up, chromite set to rise and other market news
Non-metallurgical chromite prices look set to rise in Q2. Major players are looking for increases on foundry grades, perhaps as high as $70-80/tonne, and there have been some indications of higher prices for chemical grades. Chemical grade, 46% Cr2O3, wet bulk, FOB Transvaal, is priced at $200-240/tonne, while foundry grade is $240-270/tonne, FOB Transvaal....
