Ferro-molybdenum bounced on Friday to recover some of the losses suffered over the past two weeks, as buyers returned to the market to take material at the lower prices
Western-grade ferro-molybdenum rose to $41-42.50 per kg from $40.50-42 per kg previously, with deals reported to MB across the new range.
“We’ve seen more activity and more enquiries this week,” a producer said on Friday, reporting several truckload enquiries from European consumers.
“Prices for ferro-molybdenum have consolidated and even gone back up a touch,” he added.
