Specialty alloy producer Brush Engineered Materials Inc. has increased its sales forecast for the first quarter and full year to reflect improved demand in a number of the company's end-use markets.
The Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based company, which said in its updated outlook that "2010 is off to a better-than-expected start," has raised its sales forecast for the first quarter to between $300 and $310 million, a marked increase from its previous sales guidance of $275 to $295 million.
