An environmental group has filed a lawsuit against a Portland, Ore., metals recycler for alleged violations of the federal Clean Water Act.
The Northwest Environmental Defense Center (NEDC) filed a complaint in U.S. District Court in Portland alleging that Anfield & Sons Metal Recyclers LLC is discharging pollutants into the Columbia Slough without a permit and endangering drinking water.
