Chinese high-carbon FeCr prices up 1-2%

Chinese high-carbon ferro-chrome prices rose 1-2% this week on rising chrome ore costs and the higher-than-expected settlement of European charge chrome contracts.

High-carbon ferro-chrome is trading at 8,900-9,200 yuan ($1,303-1,347) per tonne delivered duty paid (ddp) in China’s spot market this week, up 100-200 yuan per tonne from the past week.
