(AMM) Schnitzer Steel acquires Montana scrapyard Golden Recycling

Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc. has acquired substantially all of the assets of Golden Recycling & Salvage Inc., a Billings, Mont.-based scrap processing facility.

Schnitzer said its SSI Big Sky LLC subsidiary purchased the assets and is now operating the facility as Schnitzer Steel Billings.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
