Indium spread widens on strong sales

The indium price spread moved out $30 at the high end on Friday, as strong sales for high purity material survived two consecutive drops in prices.
Material traded at $550-610 per kg, compared with $550-580 per kg on May 26, as business was reported above $600 per kg and the average deal was concluded at around $575 per kg.
The price gap between the different grades of material is creating distortions, according to market participants, as the cheaper material does not meet the needs...
