The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) has hired Bryan Cave International Trade Pte Ltd. to provide legislative and regulatory intelligence about scrap metals and other secondary commodities exported to China and India.
BIR's executive committee recommended the hiring of the St. Louis-based customs and trade consultancy, it said.
"With this assignment, BIR is considerably improving its monitoring in these key business regions that host a growing recycling industry," Dominique Maguin, president of Brussels-based BIR, said in a statement.
