Steel demand forecasted to grow by 4.3% in 2011 after Q2 2010 turnaround – EUROFER

 

According to EUROFER, activity began to bounce back in Q2 2010 from the low levels reached during a gloomy 2009 thanks to a boost in key end markets such as automotive, although construction is still slow. Output in steel-consuming industries was forecast to grow by almost 4% in 2011.
