Dennen Steel Corp. plans to break ground within days on a $7.4-million, 50,000-square-foot production facility in Iuka, Miss.
The new facility follows key customers that have located to the South, according to the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based service center and high-volume stamping operation.
The 14-acre site at Yellow Creek Port also was selected due to its access to a railroad and the Tennessee River, which means it can receive master coils up to 35 tons by barge, president and chief executive officer Andrew Dennen told AMM.
