Indian barytes poised for hikes while rare earths rise on Chinese quota cuts

 

Drilling grade barytes, lump, OCMA/API grade in bulk is now $70-72/tonne, FOB Madras whilst ground API material in big bags is priced at $90-95/tonne, again FOB Madras.

Meanwhile, Moroccan prices are expected to edge up into the North Sea in the next month or two, particularly if the euro remains depressed.
