US chemicals group’s TiO2 segment more than triples profits in Q2 on stronger demand

Pre-tax operating profit for DuPont’s Performance Chemicals division for Q2 was $274m. compared with $79m. in the same period last year, while sales rose 26% to $1.57bn.
