Ferrous scrap prices into Southeast Asia firmed this week after climbing for two weeks, with bookings and offers unchanged as buyers look for further market direction.

"Scrap prices are firming up. All earlier orders have been collected, and now, buyers are taking a break for a while," said a Singapore-based trader. "For now, buyers are waiting to see which way prices will go. Prices can go up or down, depending on market sentiment," said a trader in Ho Chi Minh.
