European rebar producers are attempting to increase domestic prices by €40 ($51) per tonne due to higher ferrous scrap costs, despite weak domestic demand
Small tonnages of rebar were sold at €500-520 per tonne delivered for September production, up from the previous price of €480-500 delivered last week, according to EU mill and trader sources.
