Nippon Steel and Sumikin Stainless Steel (NSSC), Japan's biggest stainless producer, has raised its export offers on 300-series by about $100.
Rising nickel prices and stronger yen were the main factors supporting an increase, a company spokesman said.
The stronger Japanese currency in the last month has squeezed margins for the country's exporters.
