(AMM) Ball sets closure of steel can plant in British Columbia

Ball Corp. plans to close its steel can producing plant in Richmond, British Columbia, which was opened in 1985 to supply cans to Alaskan and Canadian salmon fisheries.
The closure will result in the layoff of 40 employees, which Ball expects will occur in the first quarter of next year.
