LME ASIAN WRAP: Copper jitters ahead of US payroll data

LME copper gave up early gains in Asian trading on Friday on worries that US non-agricultural unemployment data may disappoint, reining in recovery hopes.

Three-month copper traded as high as $7,650 per tonne, only to fall to as low as $7,612.5 per tonne, down $32.5 or 0.4% from officials. Aluminium traded at $2,136-2,149 per tonne, flirting with the opening of $2,143.25. "Market is awaiting the next price guidance, and the payroll data is critically important," said a trader...
