Chartering rates for Capesize vessels on the main iron ore routes to China pushed up on Friday, while Supramax vessels on the India to China route fell back from Tuesday, freight brokers told MB.
Friday's rates:
Australia-China (Port Hedland/Dampier-Qingdao) Capesize: $11.5/12.5.
Brazil-China Capesize: $27.75/28.75.
India-China (Paradip/Vizag-Qingdao) Supramax: $16.75/18.25.
Chartering rates for Capesize vessels on the main iron ore routes to China pushed up on Friday, while Supramax vessels on the India to China route fell back from Tuesday, freight brokers told MB.
