Selenium and tellurium reached new all-time highs on Friday as the supply bottleneck seen throughout the year caused consumers to bid higher still
Rotterdam-basis selenium traded at $61-$73 per lb on Friday, up from $61-70 per lb previously, as consumers struggled to secure spot material.
A single large deal was concluded at the low end of the range, but most reported business was for small lots of material sold in excess of $70 per kg.
