Sable acquires interest in Bagla Hills iron ore project in Sierra Leone

Sable Mining Africa has acquired an 80% interest in Red Rock Mining; a miner that holds a 50 year lease covering the Bagla Hills, Tonkia Kingdom iron ore deposit in southeast Sierra Leone, the company said. Bagla Hills has a historical resource, not joint ore reserve committee (JORC) compliant, estimate of 838 million tonnes at 32% Fe and is located 80 kilometres from the coast and 12 kilometres from a disused railhead at Kongo in Liberia.
