Indium fell on Friday as sources reported weakening sentiment in European and US markets
MB Rotterdam-basis indium fell to $780-870 per kg on Friday, from $800-870 previously, as sources reported softer buying.
“There has been a fairly quick adjustment on the downside. The buying side has softened,” a US trader said as he reported buying material at around $780 per kg.
“There are still reports of strong sales into Japan for high grade material, but the market is certainly weaker here,” he added.
