China’s silicon exporters expect to raise prices higher in coming weeks, with the prospect of unseasonally high power costs
Offer prices advanced this week to $2,550-2,580 per tonne fob for grade 553 silicon metal this week, compared with $2,480-2,550 per tonne last week.
“It seems that producers are very confident about the market outlook, and they feel that prices will be able to rise later on,” said an exporter in southern China.
