(AMM) Weaker domestic antimony prices confirm supplier fears

U.S. antimony prices have weakened further in the past week, confirming fears voiced by suppliers earlier this month that the market was due for a sharp drop.
The pull-back comes on the back of limited transactions ahead of summer holidays and maintenance shutdowns, as well as falling replacement costs for material out of China, traders said.
"With little buying, there is nothing to support the market," one domestic trader said.
