MB’s Daily Ferrous Scrap Index cfr Iskenderun stood at $464.78 per tonne on an HMS 1&2 (80:20) basis on Friday, up from $458.6 per tonne on Thursday.
A string of offers came into the market towards the end of this week and one merchant was able to sell a cargo of HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $464-465 per tonne cfr Iskenderun, market participants said.
