Three-month LME steel billet contract records surge in interest

The London Metal Exchange’s (LME) three-month steel billet contract witnessed a surge in interest on Thursday that carried through into Friday trading, market participants said.
The official spread jumped up to $565/571 per tonne on Friday, up from levels of $555/560 earlier on Thursday.
