YoungPoong wins 1,500-tonne Korean zinc tender

YoungPoong Corp secured a tender to deliver 1,500 tonnes of special high grade zinc to Korea’s Public Procurement Service, beating subsidiary Korea Zinc.

There were no international bids tabled in the latest tender, and YoungPoong Corp secured the contract with a $138 premium over a London Metal Exchange cash price of $2,128.5...
