Ferrous scrap prices for material imported into Spain increased this week as buyers looked to secure more tonnage for delivery in the New Year.
Shredded scrap prices have increased by €15 ($20) per
tonne over the past two weeks, while turnings have increased by
€5 per tonne, market participants said. Offer prices for
shredded material were at €320-325 per tonne cfr
($430-436) north Spain for small tonnages, up from
