South African investment bank Standard Bank has expanded its Singapore steel team and is set to sign at least two new iron ore offtake deals in the coming months, head of metals Jim Coupland told Metal Bulletin on Monday January 23.
Former Cargill steel head Carene Teo and former Cargill steel traders Cheam Dar Shyh and Frankie Khor have joined Standard Bank’s steel trading team in Singapore.
