Cobalt prices edged up again on Friday January 27 on stronger demand, market sources said.
Low-grade cobalt prices moved up by 10 cents per lb to $14.90-15.90 per lb, while high-grade prices remained unchanged.
“This is demand-driven. We’re seeing reasonably good levels of spot enquiries and some of the producers are quite tight,” one trading source said.
