Chartering rates for Capesize vessels carrying iron ore on the main freight routes to China edged down on Tuesday January 31, reflecting the continuing slump in global freight prices, brokerage firm Clarkson Securities told Metal Bulletin.
Australia-China (Port Hedland/Dampier-Qingdao) Capesize: $8.25
India-China (Paradip-Vizag-Qingdao) Supramax: $11.78
Brazil-China (Tubarão-Qingdao) Capesize: $19.25
