Metal Bulletin’s Daily Ferrous Scrap Index was almost unchanged at $437.17 per tonne cfr Iskenderun for HMS 1&2 (80:20) on Wednesday February 1, from $437.15 a day earlier.
Around four cargoes have been sold recently from the US east coast to Turkey, all commanding prices of $440, $445 and $450 per tonne cfr for, respectively, HMS 1&2 (80:20), shredded and P&S grades.
