China's silico-manganese and ferro-manganese markets weakened further as steel mills cut their purchase prices for February.
Domestic steel mills began their February raw materials purchasing this week, with most cutting prices to reflect weak sentiment in the steel market, sources said.
Latest offers for silico-manganese were in the range 7,900-7,950 yuan ($1,254-1,262) per tonne, while ferro-manganese was offered at 6,800-7,000 yuan per tonne, both down 100-150 yuan from a month ago....
