Turkish wire rod mills cut export prices by $20 to entice consumers

Turkish wire rod producers have lowered export prices by $20 per tonne for February production on lower ferrous scrap costs and scant demand from consumers.
Small parcels of wire rod were sold this week at $665-670 per tonne fob main Turkish port, compared with $685-690 previously, according to Turkish market participants.
