U.S. Steel Corp. continues to keep a close eye on import volumes, but with the North American supply chain now more "well-developed" than in the past, most customers won’t need to look offshore to meet their requirements, the company’s top executive said.
Looking forward, "availability should not be as much of an issue for North American customers," Surma said.
